Difference between 1500 and 2500 intakes?

Does anyone know the difference between the 2004 2500 and 1500 5.3L intakes? K & N lists two different part numbers for the 5.3L. The reason I ask is I have a 1500, and someone I know has a 2500 kit for the 5.3L. I'm wondering if it will fit.

I may be mistaken but I didn't think the 2500 came with a 5.3.

I thought a person could only get a 2500 with a 6.0 or an 8.1 and the 6.6 diesel.

The 2500 has a larger radiator than the 1500 (34" between the tanks as opposed to 28"). The 2500 model is probably designed to clear the larger radiator. When I upgraded to my 34" rad, I had to modify my K&N to clear it. I would *think* that an FIPK for a 2500 would work for a 1500, but not the other way around. (FWIW I'm using a Volant now which will fit either)

Oh yea, I'm pretty sure that the 5.3-6.0 intake manifold/throttle body is the same.
