89 Suburban 1500 Rear Leaf Spring Question

Recommended Posts

I have an 1989 Suburban 1500 4x4 that is sagging a bit in the rear and I was wondering if I could swap leaf springs from a 2500 directly into it.

It also has the 5.7 fuel injected motor and I'm curious where the biggest power gains for the money can be attained. The rig is 100% stock.

Thanks in advance!

As long as the eye to eye measurement is the same then the 3/4 ton springs should bolt right up. If you don't have the 3/4 ton springs yet, I have a near new set off of a 2002 2500 Suburban that have a 60" eye to eye measurement. If yours are the same let me know and you can have them cheap. :)
