usa spec ipod and factory in dash 6 disc

I have an '05 Sub with a factory AM/FM/XM radio and 6 disc in dash changer. I had a usa spec PA11-GM installed and everything including the rear seat controls works as advertised.:smokin: My problem is after disconnecting the Ipod to use at the gym/house, and reconnecting, the Ipod is not recognized. :damnit: My unit is set up using the cd changer port with dip switches as follows 1,2 up and 3,4 down.

Everything works fine if I disconnect the usa spec module to reset the unit. I called usa spec and they told me "YOU CAN'T USE THE PA11-GM WITH A 6 DISC IN DASH!" Please help before I yank this unit out!

reviving an old post... any thoughts on the USA Spec Ipod interface? Or should I just get a Lockpic from JPCustoms.com ?

 

Edit: My 05 Burb has the factory 6 disc CD changer with XM, no nav.
