Hey guys I'm new to the forum and I am getting ready to buy my first new truck. I was just wondering what is a good otd price on a sierra/sliverado 2wd ext. cab sle/ls. Any help would be awesome. Thanks in advance

If you want power windows, locks, cruise, tilt, etc., your best bet is to go with an LT1 package on a Chevy Silverado. Most trucks thus equipped will also have the light duty power package (5.3 V8, G 80 locking differential, and tow package). Other nice options to have are alloy wheels, and power driver seat.

For the gearing, i would recommend the optional 3.73 gears.

 

I priced trucks like this about 4 months ago, just before I bought mine, and with the GM red tag sale you could get into one of them for about $ 22K plug tax and title (about $ 7 off the sticker), more of if you have any GM card rebate. You need to find out what the present incentives are. Even though GM has lowered the sticker prices on their trucks recently, this is merely another sales gimmick, becauase they reduced the rebates.
