In the near future im having a custom exhaust done and i want to know whats the best choice in mufflers , i want a sweet agressive sound , kinda loud , but dont want a ticket , i want good flow and dont want to lose ne hp , thanks for ur help in my decision

i would go with a flowmaster 50 series, it will give you a small horsepower gain and that deep tone that you want, but you cant hear it in the cab unless you gun it

Flowmaster robs horsepower...and drones something terrible, avoid it like the plague. Magna Flow makes some great sounding truck mufflers, or you could go redneck and slap some glass packs on.

I agree, Magnaflow is a good one. If you want to spend the money Corsa is good too. But stay away from Flowmaster, i have had them and they are not a good choice for most .

They are nice and deep, and have a great rumble when you get on them, but they don't have that awful droning that Flowmasters do. But if you want loud I can help you out with a loud redneck setup heh heh.

Off topic...its nice to hear someone who HAS horsepower, and wants to flaunt it. I am so sick of hearing these 90 Horse Civic's race past me...how do they think they're cool? It sounds like a hampster farting up the hill.

My dream goal is to buy a Classic Cobra 427...fire engine red. Keep it all garaged up. Then come race day at the strip, show the Honda Civic and CRX pisspots what a car with a real pair of balls sounds like.

OK, back on topic...sorry-lol

nothing drive me more crazy than a civic with a fart can on it....i just traded my '04 GTO for a '06 Sierra extended cab. I used to constantly have guys roll up in their honda's and toyota's wanting to run 'em....poor choice on their part. I'm looking for a new exhaust system also and am leaning towards magnaflow....i want corsa but for the same money i can get magnaflow and a new intake....

I put some Corsa to my new truck.

Hooker AeroChambers are nice, Bassani sounds good, Magnaflow IMO is just plain quiet, B&B TriFlo kicks ass, Flowmaster I wont even comment on, JBA's exhaust even sounds good.

I have a magnaflow muffler single in dual out that i got put on at a muffler shop in my town, and it sounds badass, but relativley quiet in the cab. but this zoomer exhaust system sounds a great deal like magnaflow and may give u more hp im not sure. im considering buying one myself but they are $500, my whole exhaust with tips was $350 installed, so im not sure what i want to do.

I have the Corsa, sport exhaust. You can also get the "touring" which is a little quieter.

It is totally quiet at cruise, which is nice in the cab, but as soon as you jump on it it is quite loud.

I'm quite happy with it and it is bulletproof. I had an Edelbrock on my 93 K1500 and was quite happy with that too.

If you want to listen to the Corsa go to www.corsaperf.com.
