98 Blazer AC evaporator replacement

I took my 98 Blazer to a local place with a good reputation for AC work.The tech said the evaporator was leaking.The whole dash needed disassembly for coil replacement,500 bucks for labor!!!

I took a look,it appears to me,I'm an electrician not a mechanic,the evaporator comes out from the engine compartment side aftter removing a bunch of hard to reach screws on the heater box.

So.....how does it come out????
