orderd it today!

Today I ordered a 2002, 2500HD Crew Cab , LT, Duramax, Allison, pretty much all the toys. The dealer said it would take between 2 and 6 months to get the truck. Does this sound normal?

Two months sounds OK, but six months seems way out of wack.  I am guessing you will have it in around 8-10 weeks with the combo you have ordered.

Order time really depends on if your dealer has an allocation for the truck you ordered. Welcome to the forum and remember, good things come to those who wait.

Right on Stepside!  I waited almost 6 months for mine.  I ordered a week after they stopped taking orders for the 2000 models.  Glad I waited, gave me time to think about what I wanted and to save up more money.  Don't regret waiting at all.  I've got one of probably 10 Stepsides in Albany.  Aw Jeah!
