They have a crew cab dually here in NH. Its a shortbed though with the 8.1. the color is white though. I have only seen one dually that was other than white, and it was pewter.

Mervz:

Could you snap a picture of that truck?  I have heard of short-bed Duallies but have not seen one.  I would love to see what it looks like!

I don't know what they are asking price wise.  You can visit there website at http://www.bennettautoplex.com/.  They are GMC dealer, but for some reason they have these two Silverados.  Do a new inventory search under Chevrolet and more info on these two truck will come up.

What is that on the grilles?

Tom, those are winter fronts that come standard with all Duramax equipped trucks.  They cover all the openings in the grill and bumper to help the diesel heat up faster during the winter.  I'm not sure exactly how the attach, but maybe Crafty can answer you on that one....

MountaineerTom,

Up here in Canada if you didn't use the winter fronts that come with the Dmax the engine would always be running cold. The only time I can get mine fully warmed up is when I travel at highway speed for more than ten minutes and the air temperature is above 20 degrees. I've had my covers on since I got the truck and won't remove them till it gets above 32 degrees. Besides that, they also protect the front end from all the sand and salt!!

If you want to see pictures of mine, follow the link in my signature.

You have a good looking truck.  I don't know if this will help with putting the winter fronts on but during the winter, back where I'm originally from in WV, me and my brother used to put the vinyl cover for his tonneu cover in the dryer for 30 seconds or so to "warm it up" so it would be easy to install.

Thanks for the info on the winter fronts.

I was down in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh today and saw them unloading several Dmax trucks.  There was a crewcab short bed 4x4 that caught my eye so I checked the sticker out and it was ?,902.00  Nice truck, there was also an excab long bed but I didn't notice the price on it.
