won't start - no click - full battery

My wife drives this truck so I don't know if it was doing something different before this happened but she drove it home from work and it was ok. The next morning it just would not start.

The battery has a full charge, stays above 12v while cranking, the headlights do not dim while cranking.

There isn't even a clicking sound when turning ignition - it doesn't do anything. It seems like it is something electrical before the starter.

How do I check the starter and fuel pump relays to see if they are the problem?

Thanks

You should be able to hear the fuel pump run for a second or two if you turn the key to the run position and listen before you start to crank it.

Is it the original battery?

Check to see if any contacts are corroded.

Check the ground wire for cracks and contacts.

it doesnt take much to power lights, It probably doesnt have enough amps to crank it over. Try jumper starting it.

Well I disconnected the battery cables, cleaned them (they weren't too bad), the battery is new (about 5 months old), and I tried jumping it and it is still the same. Is there any way to test the starter relay to see if it's any good?

Well I didn't try the obvious first. Turns out hitting it with a hammer worked lol. So after the starter engages, it makes a spooling sound like a turbo blow-off. I think the starter is on its way out.
