What Did You Pay? For Your Brand New Silverado/sierra? (new Only)

Recommended Posts

Im currently in the market for a 2011 Sierra crew cab 5.3L SLE. Do you think its possible to get one for $26,000 before TT&L? I live in Houston, TX.

I live in Houston. Have you tried Beck and Masten? They are one of the best GMC dealerships here.

I bought a 2011 6.2 Texas Edition Silverado crew cab for 30k. It has bucket seats, back up sensors, 3:42 gears, all the fixin's :) . Got it for 30k, msrp was 39.8k. Traded in my 2006 Lex rx 400h.

Paid $15,800.71 out the door for my 2011 Chevy Silverado. Had 8 miles on it when I took delivery. Paid cash for it, in full, didn't want to finance it. Even though the dealer kept trying to get me to finance it, not paying all that interest don't care how low of a rate.

She's pretty much a basic truck only options were locking differential, big tow mirrors(never towing with it just like em.) My 2006 Silverado 2500HD had'em.) An cloth seats.

Just an am/FM no CD. No cruise control. 2 wheel drive 4.3l V6.

Much different than my 2006 crew cab Duramax 4x4. Sold to a friend of mine for his business for $30,000 with a little over 97,000 miles, it was still like new. Never had a single issue. Set of tires at 68,000, shocks an just fluids an filters, great truck. Just no longer tow so I didn't need it. Hope my 2011 has the same good luck. With how I baby an take care of it. Most likely i will.

2011 GMC Sierra SEL Extended Cab 2WD, black with ebony leather package, Texas All-Star package, 5.3, 6 spd auto, 3.42; MSRP $33,365.

I lucked into an additional short-term incentive the week of July 4 ($750) and paid $24,447. In addition, since I have my own business I qualified for a $500 credit on a GM Business Mastercard, so my net out the door was $23,947 (before tax and tag).

I have since had the front bumper powder coated black ($60; heck of a deal), and replaced the chrome clad/Goodyears with polished Denali wheels and Michelins, replaced the chrome mirror caps and door handles with black painted versions, and added chrome tow hooks, brushed door sills, OEM carpeted floor mats and soft roll-up toneau cover.

i got my 2011 Sierra CC SLE for about 25500 before taxes and fees. The only option on the truck is the power tech package. Ive owned it for exactly a year now and i love it. The key is getting the price down as much as possible without applying any rebates. I ended up dealing the the sales manager over the phone so its was very easy. After my months i research i laid it all out over the phone and he gave me the truck $100 above his invoice. He didn't want to budge on the advertising and holdback fees. The next day i went in and he had everything laid out on the table, actual invoice included. We then applied every single rebate applicable and i was sold. Truck went home with me that day.

I purchase my 2010 Silverado on February this year as a model year left over. The msrp was 52,203. I got it delivered to my house for 40,300 but, since I purchased it out of state, from Madison, Ohio, I did have to pay my own taxes which is 3% on top of that. My interest rate from Ally was 4.9% but two weeks after I got the truck I refinanced it with my credit union at 1.9%. The only options it does not have is a engine block heater and a 6 disc changer if that was available that I can think off.

I did not go to the dealer for this purchase. I did everything online, never even been to Ohio. This was actually a great experience for me. The sales lady that helped me was great! and kept me informed on everything.

I want to add that price only has some bearing of what you actually pay, you have to factor intrest if you are going to have a loan on it. You could get a great price but pay high interest and not really have gotten it any cheaper than the guy that paid a little more with a lower APR.

My truck will be 10 months old this Tuesday and still only has 5K miles on it.

Here are the specs on my truck:
