Gear Swap 410 To 373

I have done a search and found many talk about doing this, but have not seen anything or anyone that actually has swapped. I have a '01 2500HD 6.0 w/410 gears. I want to swap to 373's. Anyone done this, or now someone that has?

Is there any long-term diasadvantages? Any mpg increase?
