Magnaflow Installed On 07 Nbs

After recuperating from Mardi Gras, I spent last weekend installing a Magnaflow catback exhaust on my truck and doing my first oil change. Just a word to the wise, if your gonna cut off your stock exhaust with a brand new sawzall that comes with a 6" blade be prepared to make about 5 cuts, only to repetatively bend the blade over and over causing you to have to go the local hardware store and buy longer blade just to slice it off in one shot

 

Aside from that and the "not your best friend" rubber exhaust hangers, the whole stock setup slipped right out.

 

 

The truck sounds seriously mean now! Next step is the Brute Force Air Kit

Actually I have a video at home that i'll post later on, I also have pics of the stock exhaust cuts that looks like a mongaloid had a whack at it. As for the jealousy, i'm very fortunate to have an awesome girlfriend that took it upon herself to research and buy the exhaust for me as a xmas present.

She thinks everything I buy for the truck is "not needed" and I should be "happy with what I got". HA! I told her whenever we buy a house she will be eating those words because they will be coming back around. Yeah I'd love to see the video when ya get a chance.

THANKS! It has the Band Clamps. I tried to make sure the bolts where kinda hidden so that it had a more flush look to it.

Just be careful what you deem "not needed" for the house For instance, she'll say "We should invest in this moderate range toliet." You say not needed, just go with the bowl in a box kit. Outta no where Uncle Bob comes over and lays down armmagedon on your not needed call

 

I'm very fortunate that she likes all this stuff just as much as I do. She's like "I'd love to see this thing lifted with some serious rims...it's gonna be Nasty!"

Nice truck! I too have Magnaflow cat back on my truck. However, the tips are plain and do not say MAGNAFLOW on them.

 

Whats the deal on this?
