Banks Tourque Tubes

Just bought the last set if tourque tubes available for a gen vi big block truck, directly from banks, they were no longer a stocked item, this set was just set aside collecting dust, they are claimed 23 hp and 34 ft/lbs tourque, pretty sure they said they were stainless, and ceramic coated i`m not sure, for there cost i hope so, they original sold for 1600 bucks!!! just the headers!!! but i got them for cheaper, ANYWAYS these used to be very popular peices a time ago and i`m wondering if anyone has had them and/or knows someone with a set, and if they like them, these have a rediculously thick 5/8 inch flange to head!! so leaks should`nt be a problem! will hopefullt go realy well with my truck!! they were very commonly installed on motorhomes with a complete banks power system,...

My dad had the whole banks system on his '94 454 which included the headers. He absolutely loved it, gave him good power and mileage, and never had a problem with any of it. He actually wishes that they would have done something with the 8.1.

that is excellent news, i only purchased the headers, they don`t have the rest of the system, found alittle moe info they are 409 stainless and not ceramic coated, full length w/crossover still can`t find a pic but i will have them by the end of next week, so excited!!
