Tailgate Handel Bezel - Cheap!

I have a 2002 2500HD. The tailgate handel bezel keeps breaking off. I have replaced it 3 times.

 

Either cheap plastic or bad design, or both.

 

I had a 2002 Denali truck that had the same bezel and it was broken too.

 

Does anybody else have this same problem? is there an alternative? Maybe a Steal Bezel?

Yeah, a "steal" bezel would be the cheapest.

run a piece of automotive two side tape around the edge of the bezel, trim tape if necessary and stick it on works great.

Thanks for the idea. i've give it a shot. Replacing it with a new one does not good.

Never had this problem yet, but I say go with the 3M tape.
