Daddy's High...

Just came in from getting some pics. Took about 2 hours to wire everything up. This includes pulling the driver side headlight out and modifying the bulb bases to fit the fog housings. Overall, I am very happy with the outcome. I purchased the kits on eBay for 78.98/ea shipped. lighting623 is the seller. 6000K is the temp.

Looking clean on the scene, u thinking bout doin something with the orange lights? Looks good man

No immediate plans. I always roll with them on, even during the day. I love the way they look. When I have the HID's on and you're coming at me you won't see 'em anyway!

Sure. Here's one from my original foglight upgrade thread and the new one.

Original with PIAA's and Silverstars

I love the new look. Got any plans for the highs? And you referred to the fog light upgrade, but what exactly did you do? I've read your thread on it, but I am lost.

Thanks. No plans for the highs as they rarely get used. I live in a suburban area and hardly ever kick them on. As for the upgrade, I simply swapped the stock harnesses for ones that fit 9005 bulbs and then modified some SilverStar 9005 bulb bases to fit into he opening in the fog light housing. The stock fogs on the 900's blow.

Nope. Only one bulb per housing. I just replaced the low beam bulbs and the fog bulbs with HID's. The highs are still halogens but never get used.

They really do make a difference, yes. No, I just snapped a few pictures tonight right after I got done with the install, no pics from inside.

They also look a lot cooler.

I was looking at that kit as well. But everyone says that because they don't have a relay u will cause problems down the road. is this true or am i just being paranoid?

There are many guys on here and elsewhere that have those without relays and everything is fine. Some vehicles do have issues (flickering, not firing, etc.) but everyone I know with this kit on a GM has had no problems whatsoever. I looked up the seller I bought them from and I found references to his kits on many other vehicle forums and no one had a bad thing to say. Many referred to him as the best choice for affordable, quality kits. Take that for what you will but I too was concerned and spent some time looking around. I am sure some people have had issues but some people have had issues with the $500 kits as well. The seller is lighting623. Google him and see what you come up with.
