I plan to order a 2009 Silverado, extended cab, LTZ, ruby red. But I would love to see some good pics of Chevy's AND GMC's just to be sure !!

My first 3 toys were black : 1986 IROC-Z, 1991 Z-28, 2000 Corvette.

 

Black is the most beautiful color of all on a fine sports car or truck !! Your ride is fine and that's what I wanted to see.

 

I LOVE my C6 w/ the NPP. Good topic- I am a a fairly active member of the Corvetteforum. The NPP exhaust option has generated a lot of smack talk on the CForum. People who own 2007 and older C6's (which weren't available w/ NPP) talk a lot of crap about it cuz it's $1200 option (I agree it's over priced). But people like me who have it - LOVE it. And actually, that's about what one would spend on an aftermarket exhaust. It's quiet when you want, and it growls when you want (above 3500 rpm).

 

BTW - I had the Corsa Touring on my C5, and if I didn't get the NPP, I would have a Corsa system on my C6 - either the "sport", or the "extreme" . Now if you want a really loud exhaust, you probably would not want the NPP. But if you want a "somewhat loud" exhaust that's loud when you " get on it" and quiet the rest of the time - NPP is just right.

 

If you plan to order a new C6 and need a good deal, let me know. On the Corvetteforum, we have several Chevy dealerships that will sell at invoice price, or close.

Dale - how do you like your Vmax w/ the 3.73 axle ? I was going to order mine w/ the 5.3L (the 5.3L in our 2005 "Ho" is great) but after surfing around here, I have been influenced badly by you guys and feel that I MUST order mine w/ the 6.0L Vmax.

 

How's the gas mileage?

Well in his sig he mentions that he has the "short" bed and that's what I was going by.

 

Upon further ivestigation, of course, the 6'-6" in. bed , which he has, is the STD length.

07 silverado LTZ greystone, really enjoyed the truck so far..going on 6 months now.
