Why Did Gmc Dump The Sle2 Package...

When trucks **were** selling, like a few months ago...we sold our fair share of SLE2 Sierras. And, at my work, our inventory of SLE1's outnumbers that of SLE2's.

 

Why did GMC dump the SLE2 truck package??

 

3SB option gone for MY 09

 

I wonder if Chevy will follow suit with their upgraded package??

Im sure it has to do with not selling enough numbers of them nationally. If it were a fast moving option, it would not go away.

Probably a lot of people like me with the SLE1 optioned like an SLE2 sans bucket seats.

I agree... I prefer the 40/60 split front seat over the buckets.

No need for an SLE-2 package if you add the option for the front buckets and shift around options a bit...probably makes it simpler and easier to order anyway.
