Someone Stole My Grille And Lights!

And replaced them with a chrome Tahoe grille and clear corners

The clear corner lights finally came today, so they went on with the new grille. The lights were 27 bucks shipped from ebay, and they're not the exact ones I thought they were, but close enough. What can you expect for $27?

Everything went really smoothly, except the guy that had the truck before me ran the wires for the fogs through the grille, so I had to cut and splice a couple of wires. I also had to run to NAPA for a couple of amber bulbs.

All in all, including the grille, lights, and bulbs it cost me $113, and less than 2 hours including the trip to NAPA. Well worth it in my opinion.

I'd recommned some silverstar bulbs for the amber lamps - I have them in my denali with clear lenses and they look much better that way.

Looks nice, can you link me to where you got the clear corners? Also it took you that long? I can switch out bulbs grill and headlights in 15 minutes. Its soo easy to do but ive done it a million times. Just busting on you but I really can do it in 15, but that looks nice so maybe next paycheck i might have to have someone steal my grill and put a chrome one in lol

Thats looks good and the clear corners are a deffinate improvement. If I were you I'd get some stealth bulbs to really make those corner lenses clean clear.

looks good dude! definitely get some of the silverstar turnsignal bulbs. I just got a new a black grill and some clear corners for my truck as well and put the silverstar bulbs in, takes all the orrange reflection out of the clear corners.

Thanks for all the comments guys! And to be completley honest, I actually like the little bit of orange reflection. For now, at least. Later on down the road I might change it up.

Well, I was really taking my time, and dicking around a little bit. What took the longest was the whole deal with the wires. The 45 minute trip to NAPA and a snack added some time in there too...
