Need Some Help With 2004 Sierra

I recently bought a 2004 gmc Sierra 1500, that didn't come with a owners manual. I did find one on ebay but it hasn't come in yet. My first question is how do you switch between driver 1 and driver 2. Every time I start it its on driver 2. I played around and couldn't find anything. My cousin said his Escalade has a switch on the door panel, I didn't see one.

My other question is: What do the two small buttons below the tuning knob on the radio do? One of them says min the other says max. I pressed them and it seems like nothing happens. Thanks for your help.

On the driver 1 & driver 2 issue...It goes by what remote key fob you use (If you have the original key fobs they are marked on the back "1" or "2"...Replacement key fobs ARE NOT marked)

On the buttons....One should say "HR" and the other "MIN",These adjust the clock, you have to push them in for a few seconds before it starts to adjust.

Not sure about your 04 but my 02 doesn't have a selector for seat 1/2 either. It stays in the position it was last left in when the truck was turned off. I think the buttons on the radio are for clock adjustment also if I'm not mistaken.

Thank you for the quick reply. I only have one of the key fobs and it is the driver 2 one. I didn't know if you could change it from the inside of the truck. So I guess I will be buying another key fob for the wife.

The part number you need is 21997127.

And just remember...The replacement fob will not be marked on the back.
