Help With Xm Radio

I have a 2004 mc sierra with the bose radio. I wanted to know if someone could tell me how to get the radio code so that I can activate the xm radio. I searched but couldn't find anything. Thanks.

Press the "BAND" button until your on the XM band,Then tune to channel "0" and it will give you the eight digit XM radio ID number you need to activate it.
