Finished my body lift this weekend. Installed the Zone 3" kit, and made my own gap guards.

I still have Rampage Streamline 5" nerf steps to put on... I'll do that one day this week.

Hopefully ill be ordering some 305/55/20 Mickey Thompson ATZs and 20x9 Incubus Krawler 815 wheels.

Here are the 'build' pics. Day 1 pics are towards the bottom since i uploaded them first.... other then that, its pretty much sequential. (maybe ill delete them all and re-upload them so they're in order)

One thing im REALLY happy about is that my body lines are now fixed. GM did a really crappy job putting my truck together, the front bumper was especially messed up from the factory.... now everything is nice and square :dunno:

Here's some "After" shots:

Oh and here's a BEFORE pic of my front bumper (on a denali! :) )

I'll post some more pics when i put the steps on. And hopefully within the next few weeks i can do a wheels/tires update

Thanks guys.

And yea Pete, these trucks should be this height stock! The way i see it, my truck sits like an HD now... i think the new wheels/tires will give it a nice stance and the step bars im going with will help bring it back to a stock/modified look (as in i want people to see the truck and say "thats how they should be from the factory"; not obviously lifted :dunno: )

I like it Matt. The look of these trucks lifted a couple inches has grown on me.

Well you have 8-10 weeks to think about it. :dunno: The nbs trucks look awesome lifted.

Actually, I don't think your current set-up looks bad on there with the BL, just maybe some bigger tires.

yea the 305/55/20s will be about an inch taller and an inch wider. With the slighty wider wheels and less of an offset it should look more proportional.

I have some good prospects looking at both my current wheels/tires and my OEM set... so as soon as one of those sets sells, the new tires are being ordered

Does it drive any different?

Nope. Drives exactly the same. Even taking on/off ramps of the highway. Only noticeable difference is when im next to other trucks.... i no longer feel like im in a car :dunno:

Looks flippin sweet. Only one suggestion:

TAKE OFF YOUR DAMN FRAME STICKER!

And the 4th picture makes it look like you have some mean Chevy Lean. Did your fat ass wear out the suspension already? :P

 You wont see the frame sticker when i put my steps on. And my driveway is anything but level.... so no, my 'fat' ass did not wear out the suspension already (whats funny is people will think im overweight and then finally meet me at a show and be like "wheres the rest of you???")

The truck looks real good. I'm impressed with how these trucks look with just a body lift installed. How was the install? I would assume very similar to your last truck right?

Thanks man. Only issue i had with the install was that i wasted 2 hours trying to get the front bumper off. Everyone swore that the grill just pops out... but it doesnt, well mine doesnt at least. I had to take off the upper bumper cover first. Oh and it was 30 degrees and windy as hell so that didn't help much..... but yea, other than that they're pretty simple. I also spent a lot of extra time making sure my body lines were as perfect as they could be and i quadruple checked all of the steps for the wiring connections & such.

You let me and Daddy be the judge of that...

And your last truck did look like something a hairy 300 lb guy would drive (probably because compared to stock trucks, it was the equivalent of a sumo wrestler).
