Gmt 900 Popping Noise (isnt There A Thread With A Tsb?)

I could've sworn that there was a thread on this site and someone posted a TSB with the fix... but i haven't been able to find it (so maybe it was another site??)

Well anyways, I make a right turn into my driveway and the inital embankment is pretty steep so my truck flexes a little bit. Lately i've been hearing a clunk/pop sound from my passenger side/rear area when my r/r tire starts coming up the incline.

I'm farely certain that i know what it is... i remember there being a TSB on this type of noise and it has to do with body flex and there's a little piece of metal that you're supposed to bend over to help remedy the sound. I think that the sound may have been present from the factory, but my body lift may have helped excentuate it (due to a little more leverage at the mounts).

So does anyone happen to have that thread bookmarked or know the TSB im talking about?

PS... yes, im a little OCD when it comes to noises. i hate rattles/pops/creaks/etc and will obsess over it until i fix it

I remember seeing that myself, I believe the piece you bend is where the inner and outter fenders meet. I cannot find it myself. Hopefully this helps you in some way.

I had the same problem... I just took it into the dealership and did the little test drive with the SM and it was a bad body mount ruber thing. They changed it in a few hours and gave me a rental car. I hope this helps
