WOW is it just me or does 5in for a spacer sound like alot?

there are three ways to make the front lift,

spacer

coilover

struts.

most of your kits have a spacer, some have struts and almost none have coilovers. they are generally a 1-2k upgrade. a top mount spacer is how lift kits are generally done.

Kits also come with control arm crossmembers to drop the lower control arms 5 inches and new knuckles ... Are those included?

A 5" spacer alone is useless

thank you for your opinion. the thread says nothing about any of the others. i said a spacer not a kit. there are plenty of applications. again thank you for the opinion. do you not think people piece kits together everyday? i will give you an example:

Here is my current setup:

Rough Country 5 inch Kit

Pro comp 2.75 coilovers, Rear MX6 Adjustable Shocks

Atlas 7 inch spring

Rough Country Lower Leveling kit.

Superlift U Bolts

I have 8 inches in front and 7 in back.

This is an example of someone piecing together kits to achieve what they want.

Thanks for the opinion!!!!

Then you might want to clarify that you can't just use the 5" spacer alone to achieve the lift in the front. Some people don't know this.

You're welcome, but I wasn't giving an opinion- I was stating a fact so some unsuspecting buyer wouldn't think they can get 5" of lift by tossing a spacer in.

There aren't a lot of applications, the only application is on a truck where the control arms and spindles are set up for 5+ of lift and the installer broke or lost the coilovers or struts.

Unless you're claiming that you had 8" of lift from spacers only.... I'd love to see pics!

8 is from a $1500 set of coilovers made by pro comp 2.75. on top of the 5 inch rc kit. They adjust to about 7-7.5 inches of lift and i have a .5 inch lower strut spacer( coilover now) and a 7 inch custom manufactured rear spring set from atlas in cali. Thanks for the concern yet again!!!

I will get pics asap!!!

Rc makes a 7.5 and a 5 inch kit that use all of the same components except the spacer and rear block. For someone wanting to just go down to 5 inches or is building a custom kit this would be a great buy!!!

I run stock UCA BTW!

And a non-stock spindle, which was my point

No need to get all worked up. Just clarify what you're selling so people know what it is. The way you posted made it sound like someone can buy this spacer and the 5" block for the rear and get 5" of lift.
