– especially after sitting in the sun for a few hours. Anyone living in a hot, sunny climate will tell you that this assumption is accurate, of course.

No any car sitting in the sun for a few hours gets fuggin' hot.

I'm curious what this has to do with carbon emissions?

a car running down the highway with a/c on doesnt burn enough more gas then not having it on to make a difference.

why dont they try to eliminate the hour long traffic jams where 1000's of cars just sit idling wasting gas.

Unbelievable. . . I'm surprised they aren't trying to ban cars all together and have everyone riding segways. Don't they have more important issues in Cali?

who ever came up with this idea is stupid. its not like your car is going to use more fuel to cool it if the car is 20 degrees hotter. its not a building your not useing any more energy to have the a.c on longer. i live in ny and when its hot out in the summer i have my a.c on full time it doesnt burn any more gas then haveing the windows open.

what is this world comeing to. they make us wear seat belts put abs and air bags in all of our cars. in massachuetts they are talking about chargeing you buy the miles you drive every year. :dunno:

Another utterly retarded idea from the envirotards. They probably found it will save 1 gal of gas for every 1000 operating hours or such (in direct sunlight during summer high temps steadily of that length of time). Of course their tests would be in simulated conditions and making loads of assumptions.

Hopefully one day California will have a huge earthquake and break off from the rest of the US.

I'd like to put my order in for some oceanfront property in Nevada. :dunno:

They don't call it Commiefornia for nothing.
