Suspension Noise

I have been having an issue with a loud squeek in my front suspension....its either the tie rods or ball joints...I sprayed them with panther piss last week and it fixed the issue for a few days but now the squeek is back.....anyone having issues with their leveled trucks? I have the skyjacker 2 inch spacers

Have you tried greasing your TREs with a grease gun? There is a nipple on top of them. Every other ball joint is un-serviceable, but maybe you will get lucky and its just the TREs

thx.....just got back from dealer and its the ball joints....not bad getting 5,000km out of a set of ball joints

I bet it isn't ball joints. Typically ball joints will cause clunking and looseness in the steering, but no squeaking.

I agree,That sounds about right Pete. I've never heard of ball joints squeaking.

its more like a creeking noise ..... they said they lubed the ball joints first and the noise went away

 

i did the same last week but the noise returned...have to wait till tomorrow to see

Injection needle? Or don't they even have an exposed boot?

hmm, I think I have the same creaking in mine. It started when the leveling kit got put on, so I had them take it off. It still does it from time to time so I will be very intrested to hear your out come.

both upper control arms were replaced and the noise is gone.
