Welcome to GM-Trucks.com exclusive first look at the 2025 Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe

A few weeks ago we visited a GM facility just outside Detroit and got a sneak peek at the

next generation Tahoe and Suburban coming our way in 2025. I'm thrilled to take you on a tour of these magnificent vehicles and show you what Chevrolet

has in store. The exterior design of the 2025 models is sleeker than ever

Notice the smooth lines and reduced badging, giving these vehicles a clean, modern look

The front end, particularly, takes a cue from the Silverado 1500, featuring the same style

of C-shaped daytime running lights, but in a little chunkier form. What's fascinating to me is the differentiation between the High Country and the Z71 models

The High Country boasts optional 24-inch wheels, exuding extravagance, while the Z71

features a unique, high-approach front bumper, enhancing its rugged and capable aesthetic

Now let's step inside. My first impression of the interior in these SUVs is that it's nothing short of stunning

Center stage is taken by the large, 17.7-inch infotainment screen, which immediately grabs

your attention. You'll notice the interior styling echoes the Chevrolet brand's New Direction, reminiscent

of the Silverado EV, Blazer EV, and even the new Trax. It's a harmonious blend of luxury and technology, setting a new benchmark for what an SUV interior

could be. Not much has changed behind the front row, which still features a useful blend of capacity

and storage. Moving on to under the hood, the 2025 models pack a more powerful 3.0-liter Duramax diesel

engine, matching the power output of the Silverado at 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque

This boost in performance is useful, especially when it comes to towing

Speaking of, new trailering safety features make towing more comfortable and include tire

health monitoring, mobile app load rating information, boat ramp assist, and trailer-specific

navigation options in which you can calculate a route based on your trailer size

Moving on to ride and handling, there's a continual refinement of the AirRide and

Magnetic Ride Control systems. AirRide Adaptive Suspension is an option in RST, Z71, and High Country

It can adjust the vehicle's height and offers automatic load leveling. Magnetic Ride Control is standard on Premier and High Country, and also optional on RST

and Z71. Rounding off the ride and handling improvements is the exciting addition of Super Cruise on

LT and RST models. This hands-free driving technology is a game-changer, enhancing safety and convenience, especially

on long journeys. But perhaps the biggest news you'll find on the 2025 Suburban in Tahoe, aside from

its new looks, is its brand-new Connected Camera system. It allows real-time viewing of any of the five cameras available on the vehicle through

the MyChevrolet app. This system also doubles as a dash camera, automatically saving footage in case of an accident

The ability to see inside, outside, and get a 360-degree view around the vehicle at any

time is truly revolutionary, and a feature that has never been offered before on any

General Motors vehicle. From my short time getting acquainted with these new models, it's pretty clear the

2025 Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe continue to raise the bar in the full-size SUV segment

They blend modern design, leading-edge technology, and robust performance. As a truck enthusiast, and while someone who appreciates the finer details in vehicles

I'm genuinely excited about what these models offer. The Suburban and Tahoe remain the benchmark against which all other SUVs are judged, and

rightfully so. I can't wait to get behind the wheel of these new models and take them for a spin
