With so many performance parts in our garage, we're going to start out with the easiest and most popular

The Chevrolet performance intake and exhaust. So sit back, relax, get yourself a drink, and watch us install these two performance parts

Sometimes you just need the right side

There we go. Sometimes you just need the right side socket. That's what this works

There we go. There we go. I going to Going back in definitely a lot easier than pulling them out

It seems to be. Yeah. Yeah. You gotta get it through here first

You kind of You kind of almost sit up in here. Actually, I can. Yay

Ha ha ha. Ha ha. There we go

What I'm doing is right here. What I'm doing is right here, this hanger is not

level so I'm loosening things up to see if I can rotate this whole piece just a little bit

I think she's good

Okay, we've just put on our Chevy Performance exhaust, and it's the moment of truth

It's time to see you what it sounds like. Let's see what it is. What sounds like driving in a little of that

I think of the mini bike over there

So I'm here installing the Chevy performance intake

And I've reached the point where I'm going to be installing the filter on the inside. side

Alright, so the next step is we've got to get the cover on

And then the math sensor is going to go in. So first, I'm going to get out and find the hardware to screw these. Okay

So the math center is going to go right here. And so I've got to screw that in

Be very gentle. I put it in this rubber glove just to keep it out of dust from anything getting on it

This is a very delicate piece of equipment and you definitely do not want to damage or get it dirty in any way

Well, maybe that's that one. And that's, yeah, that looks about right

Okay, we're going to lift this thing in here now. I'm going to try to get some of this stuff out of the way

But basically, it's going to pop in and then down. And also, because they've had me install the cover

I've got to make sure not to mess up the cover while I do this

Okay, so this seems like this was going to. be really easy but but

I got a little

I got a little screw and I got to put a little screw and I got to put

in and it's down in here. Basically the whole unit pushes into some rubber

grommets and then settles down on top of a nut. Right. I gotta pop this off

There we go. Next up is this connection here

So I just have to get these things onto here. It's like they need to be loosened up just a little bit

Wow, talk about easy

This whole thing just pops into place without much fuss

And then we have this breather. It looks like, this now that goes, it looks like it goes just like this

Here we are installed. So easy. That was just like the exhaust

Made to fit, nothing is hard or needs jimmying or kind of fast to work

Just all fits into place. All right, let's get in here. Now I just reset the battery

because I had unhook the battery terminals, but... There we go

Chevy Performance Intake is installed. Well, it's been a few weeks, and I just want to let's

be a few weeks and I just wanted to let everybody know what we thought about the Chevrolet

performance, intake, and exhaust. Turns out the pair was really easy to install. We really

appreciated that the fit and finish look exactly like stock and everything just went together

We did unfortunately have to take a trip to our dealer shortly after installing the intake

because a check engine light came on. Now we knew we needed to reflash our computer in the truck

because the software update comes with the intake, but we thought we could just get around to it

Our mistake. The check engine light came on, but after a quick trip to the dealer, a free trip to the dealer, our Silverado is running better than ever

The exhaust is only mildly louder than stock, and our neighbors don't hate us. It's pretty easy to live with on a daily basis, but if Chevrolet Performance made an even louder option, just even a little bit louder, I don't think we'd complain a bit

Overall, these two products, the Chevrolet Performance intake and exhaust, have made our Silverado exponentially more fun to drive
