								If you’re hearing a squeal or ticking sound from the front of your 2023–2026 Colorado or Canyon while driving, but it goes away when you press the brake pedal, you’re not alone. GM has identified a hardware-related cause that can also lead to uneven front pad wear. I put together a clear breakdown of what’s happening, what to look for, and what to tell your dealer.

	I've had my 2024 AT4X for a month and I've noticed the transmission shifting sucks. Unless I come to a complete stop, it won't downshift into 1st. I 've slowed to 1 mph (near-stop), then stepped on the gas it still wouldn't downshift to first. It would accelerate from 2nd. Also it shifts really hard when shifting from forward to reverse. It's not due to not completely stopping when changing directions as I'm religious about coming to a complete stop, Also the transmission shifts are annoyingly slow. GMC really needs to make this transmission performance match the engine performance.

	I have had my new Canyon for less than a month and I have had many issues with my Infotainment System Audio.<br />
	<br />
	First time was as I was about to drive it off the lot for the first time ... zero audio from ANY source.  No BluTooth.  No SiriusXM.  Not even any AM/FM.  After nearly an hour, one of the salesmen reset the entire system to factory defaults and it worked for a few days.  I had him show me where that setting is hiding.<br />
	<br />
	A few days later just the Sirius XM stopped working.  BluTooth Audio and AM/FM was OK.  The next morning, SiriusXM was working again.  Buggy, but at least it fixed itself.<br />
	<br />
	It happened again a week later.  No Sirius XM on the drive to work, but after an 8 hour work day, it was working for the drive home.  Skepticism grows.<br />
	<br />
	Then more recently I lost Sirius XM again for 2.5 days and began to lose all hope.  I did a complete system reset, losing all of my presets and other user settings.  No joy.  I was about to drive back to the dealership this morning and give them a piece of my mind.  "What sort of LEMON have you sold me?"   But last night, I did a bunch of google searches and came across a website that had a tip.  Apparently you can <u><strong>hold the "End PhoneCall" button down for 10 seconds </strong></u>and it does a system reset.  I'm not certain, but I don't think it clears all of my other settings.  I hadn't put them back in, so I'll have to check.<br />
	<br />
	Anyway ... if you are like me, and experiencing issues with your Audio, and you have found no help in the manual, hopefully this tip will fix your problems like it did for me.<br />

	On May 16th, I drove to Costco about 30 miles from my home, I pulled into the parking lot and drove over to the gas pump and as I pulled up to the pump the engine started to shudder and shook the truck? I turned off the engine, after filling the gas tank I restarted the engine and the engine light remained on. I drove over the a GMC dealership about a half mile from the Costco. The guy at the dealership put it on diagnostic read out, the code came back DTC P0016( Crankshaft Position Sensor and Intake/Single Camshaft position sensor correlation) what ever that means? The truck only had 4,575 miles on it and drove great. I had scheduled a oil change the next day at another dealership, I had called them about the problem and drove the next day to the other dealership they put it on the diagnostic read out the same code came up, I was told that they cleared and reset codes. Hopefully that wont happen again? Next month we plan on driving to Southern California for the Grandkids graduation( 800 miles round trip) Tack care and safe travels

	I put a factory order in for a 2024 Canyon Denali in January of 2024 at my local dealership, was told I would be able to keep track of the pickup truck using a order number, I have not received a order number and I called the dealership asking about the pickup of course they have no idea. I look online and find out that no 2024 Canyon Denali are not on any dealership lots? If anyone has any information about this please let us know. Thanks

	Experiencing a whistling/squealing noise coming for the top of the drivers side windshield when driving over 70mph. Just took it in to GMC service and they said it is most likely that the windshield glass needs to be re-set. Problem is they need an additional windshield when performing the re-set in case the current one breaks and since the truck is brand new and it is a new body style, there are no windshields available to order. No telling when this problem can be fixed. So I've got to live with a super annoying sound for the unforeseeable future.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Also, the moulding around the wiper arms are not connected to the additional moulding near the hood hinges. The clips are literally not connected at all and will not set back in place. Have to order all new parts for that as well...brand new truck. Unbelievable.

	I recently crawled under a 2009 Colorado and the frame was completely rotted out. It's a beautiful truck it broke my heart to witness this situation. So if you live in the Northern Tier ,and you plan on keeping your vehicle be sure to do a rust preventive coating inside and out on these particular chassis
