  1. Ran across these wheels while searching for a 17" steel wheel for my '14 GMC Sierra. I currently have 20s. Was just looking. Anyone have any experience with these wheels? Supposedly GM wheels Made in USA. Will they fit? Offset doesn't look right. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JFMVVF8/?coliid=I1YICWDNZHWXND&colid=EH462CXEB9SS&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it http://www.wheelsexpressonline.com/17-silverado-tahoe-yukon-sierra-wheels-rims-6-lug-178655gm-178655gm
  2. Well guys, it finally happened with the 2019's coming out and all these dealers trying to move their new and used 18's I broke down and upgraded my 2014 GMC 1500 to a Certified 2018 Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 w/ only 2700 miles! I am pretty excited about it, she's bone stock and she won't last that way for long. Going from 35's to stocks is going to be quite the transition at first, but don't fret! There are changes coming soon and I figured I would track my build right here, hope y'all will enjoy! It already started yesterday as I did some research and discovered my K & N cai will fit on the 2018, so I pulled that off and put the stock intake back on, also took the hidden light bar out of the grill, and of course took my good ole trusty tool box off (this will be truck number 5 for the tool box!). I placed an order just a few minutes ago and there are more goodies coming soon! Please let me know if y'all have any comments, ideas, or questions!
  3. Replaced these with tow mirrors so I no longer need these. These mirrors are the switchblade DL8 mirrors (power adjust and heated glass) painted Silver Ice Metallic. They were removed from my truck with 3k miles on it and are in perfect condition with new chips, cracks, or broken components. Will fit 2014-2017 silverado or sierra's. $125 + shipping. PM with zip code for shipping cost.
  4. What's the biggest rim I can run on a stock GMC Sierra 1500 4wd. I have 17 inch rims on now but would like to upgrade. Thanks in advance
  5. I'm looking to sell my current tire/wheel setup to upgrade to a bigger setup. Rims: XD Hoss 17x9 black finish bolt pattern 139.7 6 lug, just purchased in October, look like new Tires: Cooper Discoverer 285/75/17 ATP Load E (10ply) with 85% tread left, these tires only have around 9,000 miles on them. I paid around $2000 for this at discount tire, I'm looking to get $1500. Please only serious inquiries, msg me if you're interested, Im located in West Texas area
  6. I'd like to start off by thanking you all for stopping by to read this post and helping me out...!!! This summer I plan on throwing a 6 inch lift kit from BDS onto my 2008 Silverado 1500 Ext cab 4x4. Here is a link to the kit: http://bds-suspension.com/product?ma=5&mo=1&ty=1&yr=2007-2013- But before I throw it on, I'd like to know some options I have for locking difs. I plan on running 4.56s or even 4.10 (I still haven't made my mind up yet). I am currently running stock gears which are 3.73 on 33" tires. When I do the lift her, I'd like to run 35s (maybe on 17s or 18s).. haven't decided on that either; don't know which would look better with 35s). Now, my truck has the RPO code that states it has the Eaton G80 Locker. I picked her up in early to mid October of 2014, and since owning the truck I have yet to notice the locker engage. I've been through some deep snow, ice, gravel roads, and some light mud with terrible tires and even then haven't noticed an engagement..? At this point, I'm feeling like I may not actually have a locking dif . So, I start looking briefly at some locking diffs online (one of them was the Detroit Truetrac). But I read somewhere that they don't suggest tires over 33s; reason being that the tire is too big and the locking dif won't engage. Because of that, I'm lost on what locking difs are available/ones I should consider looking into. I don't plan on beating my truck into the ground, nor do I plan on doing extreme off roading/jumping my truck. More like nice casual off-roading with some buddies, going to our fishing/hunting grounds, and exploring new areas. As well as going mudding wherever & whenever we can Appreciate any help any of you can give me. Thanks!
