I fell down the rabbit hole it all started with an AirRiad full intake and then I got to thinking. I need a cat-back exhaust, headers and a tune. Here is where I am at. -Borla touring dual exit - http://www.gmperformancemotor.com/parts/19303342.html -AirRaid full kit - https://www.airaid.com/search/product.aspx?prod=AIR-203-111 -American Racing 1 7/8 headers and high flow cats - https://americanracingheaders.com/collections/gm-truck/products/gm-truck-6-2l-2014-up-long-system?variant=29943904900 -Efilive flashscan V2 from Blackbear with email tune - http://store.blackbearperformance.com/EFILive-V2-Scan-and-Tune-GM_p_17.html I ordered everything but the headers I have a local shop that I feel comfortable having install headers https://www.eastcoastsupercharging.com/ and if they are installing them I will just let them order them for courtesy. They work on mostly corvettes and camaros also trucks. My only concern is the cost and I am curious as to what you guys think about two things and some help with my decision. -should I have them purchase and install the headers and "street tune" for $3149? keep in mind they are also installing the cat-back Borla exhaust which I am supplying. So $3149-$1775=$1399. minus the cost of the headers it is $1399 for the header and cat-back install and street tune. -OR find another installer that I trust to do the headers and cat back install and just use Blackbear for the tune that is included with my flashscan V2. I like the idea of having two different tunes so I can compare and see which one I like better and get to learn efilive and hopefully do some of my own tuning in the future. Please no comments why don't you install everything yourself. I did the intake and would have no problem installing that cat back but headers are out of my league. Thanks just wanted to bounce this off of you guys and see what you all thought.
