  1. So I just purchased bushwacker fender flares for my 2018 Sierra and debating whether or not to keep them black or color match them. Money isn't an issue as my buddy owes me a favor and agreed to paint them at no charge but I just dont know which would look better.
  2. What’s up, has anyone purchased the Fab Four Open Fender Flare system for their 1500? The manufacturer said they haven’t tried it on a 1500, but there are online stores that say it fits. It’s a custom job that can be tweaked if needed, but how different are the 1500 and 2500 fender panels? Looking to fit 37-38” on a 6” lift and apparently you can fit 40” tires with no lift with this system. Thanks https://fabfours.com/product/gmc-2500-3500-open-fender-system/ https://www.4wheelparts.com/p/fab-fours-open-fender-system-matte-black-tf3100-1/_/R-DKSN-TF3100-1
  3. Hello everyone, I was hoping someone could help point me in the right direction on some color matched fender flares. I've looked through a few different oem supplier websites and haven't been able to find colormatched fender flares from the factory for a white AT4. Regular white, not the frost tricoat color. I found these, 84442522, but this part number looks to be for the white frost and not regular white. Has anyone been able to find the part number for them? Also, I am looking to reverse level the AT4. I understand they come with a leveling kit from the factory, but the truck isn't level and still has a huge amount of rake. I am looking at two options, either buying drop shackles or just removing the rear block. Can anyone with a non-AT4 trimmed Sierra (i.e, SLT, SLE) confirm whether or not your truck has factory blocks? From what I've seen the Denali's and High Country's don't have blocks, but I just want to make sure that pattern is true across the board (SLT, SLE, WT..etc) in order to have a better idea of just how much the truck will be dropped by removing the rear blocks. I have a suspicion that only only the AT4's and Trail Bosses' come with rear blocks and that's due to the pre-installed factory leveling kit. If someone can help me out with these two things, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks.
  4. I purchased my truck with Bushwacker Smooth Entend-a-Flare installed. I do not care for the look and was curious if anyone is interested in buying or trading. Ideally I’d like to trade for the OEM black fender moldings. Let me know if there is any interest and we can work something out.

  6. Who has got them? Please post your type, size, pictures (if you have any) and most importantly; your thoughts about them- looks, function, value, longevity, paint to match vs. matte or bedliner finish. I’ve got a 2015 Silverado High Country 1500. It sometimes looks like this: Because I live here:
  7. Hello all! So I went hunting this weekend and down some gravel roads...and I believe I picked up some rock paint chips...DOH!! I don't have overly aggressive tires (285/65r18, on stock rims) but apparently enough to toss some rocks...so...I am looking for some fender flares that aren't too aggressive, just good coverage. I like the clean look of the Bushwhacker Extend-A-Fender (I prefer to not get the fake bolts). Again, since my tires don't really stick out, they are just about even with my fender (except at the bottom)...I don't really want a huge fender flare sticking out too far... Do you have any recommendations of something similar? the Bushwhacker are damn expensive, anything that is comparable but not quite as much? (or is this the case of you get what you pay for?) anyway, also I have seen some OEM fenders for sale, didn't know if they had any coverage or would just be a hint of a lip sticking out... looking for suggestions! thanks in advance! (ps I accidentally posted this in the HD section yesterday...if a Mod happens to read this and doesn't mind moving or deleting the other thread)
  8. I'm looking into adding some pocket style fender flares to my 2018 Silverado LTZ. So far for 2018 all I have come up with is Rough Country and Bushwhacker. Rough Country comes in at $299 unpainted and Bushwhacker comes in at a whopping $499 unpainted. I'm not so much concerned with the price as I am the quality. Both of which I am unfamiliar with. My truck's color is iridescent pearl tricoat so as you can imagine I am going to have to pony up to have it specialty painted too. Any thoughts on the two brands or a recommendation for a brand I have yet to find? Many thanks.
  9. I had fender flares installed on my 2008 Silverado last year as I was starting to develop rust on my rear wheel well. The flares I purchased were not the riveted variety, they screw in from the underside and only have weather-stripping on the top side. The two on the passenger side are still tight against the body and working fine. However, the two on the driver's side are both loose, I can pull the flare away from the body with my fingers, which inevitably means it is letting water in and will trap it. So I'm wondering, is there an adhesive I can use to hold the weather-stripping tight against the body, without damaging the paint job?

  11. I am planning to add fender flares to 2014 sierra. The truck is iridium and I want to match colors so I need to paint the flares. I have seen all kinds of estimates for the cost to have them painted iridium, also I have seen I can buy them already painted but those are expensive. I have seen online and in some shops spray type paint that they say will match the color. My questions on these are will they actually match the color and gloss (iridium seems like a tricky color)? And if it does match will it wear and look like s**t after a few months? Thanks a lot guys.
  12. I'm looking at the OE version of Bushwacker Fender Flares for my Silverado. Anyone have any experiences with the long-term effect of drilling holes in your fenders to mount these? Is rustproofing the hole after drilling and using plastic fasteners the only way to go? Here is a link to it... http://www.bushwacker.com/fender-flares/chevrolet-oe-style-fender-flare-set-of-4-oe-matte-black-40956-02
  13. Hello Everyone, Was hoping someone out there could help me get a visual of some Fender Flares (preferable painted) on a 2016 model Silverado/w new front end. I've seen some on here but none with the new front end. I'm running 35's (see below) that stick out quite a bit (around 3 1/2" to 4") and rocks are beating the heck out my new truck. Also, if anyone has any other idea's on wait to do to protect the bottom sides (by the running boards) from rock chips/damage I'm all ears. Any help or thoughts would be great, just wanting to see some pics. before I spend around $800...... Thanks
  14. Alright guys I honestly have no idea if there is a post for this already ( if there is, go easy as I tried to find it ) but I was wondering if the plastic fender flares/trim on the Sierras 14+ will fit the 14+ Silverado's? I wish they would have put those on the Silverado's also, but I would rather buy those for now until I get my lift, wheels, and tires, and then go to a bigger fender flare, but until then if these will fit I'd like to get them. Again if it's been asked or answered before, go easy.
  15. Hello, I am looking into putting a nicer wheel and tire setup on my truck. I just installed a 2 inch leveling kit, and I am about to get 305/55/20r. I think I'm going to get the fuel Hostage with a +1 offset. I want to know if anyone has any problems with this offset throwing rocks and mud, and chipping paint. I like the idea of adding smaller flares, but I haven't seen anyone with fender flares with just a level. All advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
