Hey guys, I've been looking around a few different companies and looking at different lift kit options. Just wondering if you guys had any experience/knowledge that you guys wanted to share. I would love any input. Ive been looking at lifts In the range of 7-9" kits. I dont need a great offroading kit because I plan on keeping my truck a little bit more towards the show scene rather than offroad. I plan on putting 37" tires with 22x14's rims. As for offset im not decided yet. Looking to figure out which kit will best fit me and provide a good ride, with good dependability behind it. I have looked at the Cognito 10" lift & love the way it looks and I love the features it comes with. Im a huge sucker for fox shocks, I absolutely loved them on my last truck. However, the Cognito kits go for anywhere over $5,000 depending on what options you add to your kit. Because of this, I started leaning more towards the McGaughys 7-9" lift. The price is a lot better for this kit, I've seen them around $2,500 range. Although, I also checked out a BDS 8" Coilover kit which comes with the fox shocks and fox coilovers. My last truck had BDS suspension on it & it put up to the constant beating I put on it, great kit overall. The 8" BDS kit falls more around the midpoint between Cognito & McGaughys. If you guys have any previous experiences with any of these companies, I would love to hear any good/bad stories. Also, if you guys have any recommendations for other companies im all ears! Thanks

So I'm just now getting around to posting about it but finally got the McGaughy's 4/6 deluxe drop installed on my 2018 double cab. Also got my Status Journey 22's wrapped in 285/40/22 rubber and put on as well. I think I'm gonna call this truck Vaderado The kit is very well made and went together pretty easily, I did initially drop the front end 5'' just to see how it looked but couldn't even get my hand in between the bottom of the fender well and the tire, so I adjusted the strut with the spacer rings provided up an inch and shes sitting quite nicely. If anyone has any questions about the kit feel free to ask!! oh and before anyone points it out, yes the rear exhaust tip is lower and not perfect, we ended up bending it down and busting the hanger slightly in the process of doing the rear as it didn't quite clear the leaf pack

Hi everyone Up for sale is my beloved 2014 Silverado. 4x4 Double Cab Z71 It is professionally lifted 9" with a McGaughys lift, 35" Cooper STT Pro tires on 20x10 Fuel Coupler wheels (85-90% tread left) This truck has been extremely reliable. I purchased it from Chevrolet of Milford certified used and it is still under the factory warranty It turns a lot of heads and I receive a ton of compliments everywhere I go. Clean title 47,xxx miles. Asking $32,500 OBO. I am negotiable on the price and willing to work out a deal. In addition to the lift, other very nice add-ons were installed. LTZ projector headlights with 5000k Morimoto HIDs (almost pure white light) Tri-fold tonneau cover Volant performance exhaust. Phillips 6000k LEDs in the cargo light and reverse lights. OEM all weather floor mats Tow mirrors running boards (removable-3m stick on) bumpershells gloss black front bumper cover should you want to return to the chrome bumper. Other than that, the truck has been well maintained. I am selling due to the fact my wife and I carpool to work and this gets driven no more than once a week. It is no longer necessary to have two vehicles at this point. the truck will also come with all of the stock components should you desire to return it back to stock. I made sure to keep all of the parts after the shop installed the lift. I also have the stock mirrors, stock floor mats, and stock halogen headlights and stock goodyear tires, antennae and mudflaps. Again, I really wanted to have nearly all of the stock pieces readily available. The motor is untouched and untuned. Zero done there. Cosmetically there are a few small dings and very minor scratches. Nothing major in the least bit Please enjoy the pics. Here to answer all questions and send more pics and videos as requested. I also have the GM build sheet of the truck as well
