John Goreham Contributing Writer, GM-Trucks.com 10-29-2018 The embarrassment of riches for New England Sports fans continues as the Red Sox win their fourth World Series in fourteen years. It was nice of the Sox to give Pats, Bruins, and, Celtics fans another new reason to cheer. The 2018 Willie Mays World Series Most Valuable Player, Steve Pearce, drove home in an all-new Chevrolet Silverado LT Trail Boss after the ceremonies. Pearce drove in eight runs and scored five. “In a matchup of the two best teams in baseball, Steve Pearce’s performance on the field tonight and throughout the World Series truly embodies the same spirit that drives the Chevrolet team to win every day,” said Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet. “We are proud to recognize Pearce’s tremendous efforts with the Willie Mays World Series MVP award and the all-new Chevrolet Silverado LT Trail Boss pickup.”

John Goreham Contributing Writer, GM-Trucks.com 7-13-2016 After last night's baseball all-star extravaganza, the 2016 Ted Williams All-Star Game Most Valuable Player, Eric Hosmer, was given a choice; A 50th Anniversary Edition Camaro SS or Colorado Diesel Midnight Edition. What would you have picked? Hosmer took home the Midnight Edition Colorado Diesel. “Hosmer’s spectacular on-field performance tonight demonstrates to all baseball fans and especially our kids that hard work, determination and teamwork is what wins, and that is why Chevrolet is proud to present the MVP award,” said Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet. This writer would have found it very hard to pass up a special edition Camaro SS in the middle of summer. What say you?
