I just ordered a Rough Country leveling kit for my 2019 Silverado. I know I can install it myself but will I need an alignment? Has anyone actually installed one of these on a 2019? Did it throw the alignment off? Was just curious if I should spend the money getting an alignment or not. Thanks in advanced. I have a newer body style 2019 if it makes a difference.

Selling my lifted Canyon left a hole. My new Sierra is a nice truck, but it's too big and low for off road trails, and I'm several hours away from any off road trails anyway. So, I got a new rig, that I can crawl around in almost anywhere! It's a Vaterra Ascender 1/10 RC. It's been a lot of fun!

Sup everyone! Will be installing some new lighting in a few weeks and wanted to see what others have done. here is my line-up: I will be using Rough Country's 52" Curved LED bar across the windshield: http://www.roughcountry.com/52-inch-curved-x5-led-light-bar-76254.html also the RC flush rear bumper mounted LED reverse lights: http://www.roughcountry.com/2-inch-led-square-flush-mount-lights-70803bl.html also the RC rock lights behind the wheel-wells: http://www.roughcountry.com/led-rock-lights-709rlc.html I am still looking into replacing the OEM HID lights, i would like a whiter light. if anyone has any ideas or knows where to obtain better HID lights for the 2017 Silverado post a link, thanks!

After endless reading I figured I would reach out and just ask for help with what I'm looking for. I have a 2014 V6 sierra SLE. I'm just looking for the off road look not planing on taking it off road or anything. I plan on going with 33 or 35 tires and 20inch rims here are my questions. I'm looking to lift my truck 4 inches. The most affordable way that is safe for my truck in the long run. 1 Is it better for me to do RC 2.5 front 1 rear plus 1.5 zone body lift? VS 4 inch suspension kit? 2 in your opinion what's the best affordable suspension kit. 3 what makes it a full suspension kit vs a glorified leveling it? 4 Is RC 3.5 a real suspension kit? Thank you I'm new to trucks and the site.

I've been searching on here and google and cant seem to find any solid answers. Just ordered a 2014 Silverado with 18" wheels. 1.) What is the factory wheel offset? Someone posted it was +18mm for the 20 in wheels. So is it the same between the different size rims? (Also curious if GM posts these specs anywhere) 2.) Looking to put on the 2.5" RC lift and new wheels and tires. RC site says you can fit 285/70R17, 295/65R18 would be 2/5in taller and wider. So most likely no problem with rubbing? 3.) Also looking at the XD Rockstar 2 wheels. 18in they only offer 0mm offset, 20in they offer with 18mm offset. Changing to 20 in wheels is an option, but looks to be about $500 more than a set of tires and 18" wheels. So would there be no chance of making the 18in 0mm offset wheels work besides wheel spacers, which I've heard nothing but bad about. Also whats your opinion on the Rockstar 2 wheels? I know I used to see the original Rockstar wheels everywhere, but havent seen any of the Rockstar 2s yet. Or any recommendations for black wheels without any chrome? It's a black truck, and color matching the bumpers, grille, mirrors and handles as soon as I get it. Thanks guys

I am getting ready to purchase a level kit for my 2012 Crew Cab 4x4 Sierra, I am leaning towards the RC 2 inch simply due to the price. With the $64.99 kit here what type of rear blocks would be best to sit near level, or a little up in the rear due to light towing. Is this even the best RC level option? Very rare for me to tow something real heavy. I was looking into ReadyLift 2.25 inch and my mind made up I was going to go with it, but it is almost $200 more here. That seems crazy for .25 inches. Does anyone have any other reason the ReadyLift would be a better option. I know they are reliable but the RC seems to be just as reliable based on all the other posts. I also know there is a difference in the material, but no one has seemed to complain or had something bad happen with the RC. Does anyone have the 2 inch RC and a 2 inch block or 3 inch block? How much higher does the rear sit than the front? I have read many of the other similar posts, but It is really hard to decide based on someone saying it looks great…. If you guys have pictures please post. Thanks!

So I've been shopping around for a lift for sometime now. I have been pretty focused on the Rancho 4" lift. But I have also been stuck on the 5" rough country as well for its price. I have talked to several people who install lifts and they are mostly saying that the 5" RC is the best value. I was hoping someone one here has some pictures of their truck with a 5" RC lift installed. I have a 2012 gmc 1500 4x4 Extended cab. It would be greatly appreciated for to hear some responses about this lift.
