txlawless posted a topic in Gen III and IV Small Block & DrivetrainSo this one is a little complicated I drive a 2011 GMC sierra denali, it has the 6.2L V8 with long tube headers and cold air intake. It has also been tuned trying to fix the issue with no luck. While driving about 30-40 mph it begins to buck or lag like the truck is misfiring but there are no codes and i dont believe it is actually misfiring. it seems to struggle unless i am on the gas constantly. It has a similar issue when in the 50-60 mph range as well. Any other time the truck seems to run fine. The best way to describe the anomaly is it seems to oscillate almost for the time it does this instead of smooth acceleration or smooth cruising. It isnt the tac either, it can be heard in the exhaust that it is not running smooth. The things i have done chasing the problem: New injectors, new spark plugs, oil catch can, new spark plug wires, tune, replaced transfer case, cleaned throttle body, new throttle position sensor, new crank shaft position sensor, cleaned all grounds, new MAF, new MAP, new o2 sensors, new air intake manifold. I am starting to think this truck will never be fixed. HELP WANTED lol Thank you for your time.
Hello everyone, I am new here. I finally got an account, because everytime I have a truck issue, I search Google and it sends me here. If my issues was covered in another thread, please respond with those links. On with the issue. My RPMs are fluctuating even when I am in cruise control. If I turn on my tow-N-haul the RPMs fluctuate higher. Watch my Youtube Video of what is happening. Do you think it is a transmission issues or something else that is telling the transmission to shift as if it is going into "grade active mode" I do not have codes after they were cleared after i had the oil pressure sensor/switch was replaced. The video was prior to getting oil sensor replaced, but is still doing the samething.
AC cycles frequently
14GMCbz posted a topic in 2014 - 2019 Silverado & SierraBuying a 2014 Sierra with a V6 engine - a Service Tech. told me that this vehicle has a design flaw that causes the AC to cycle every 15 to 20 seconds in warm weather, at idle which causes idle rpm to fluctuate. I have not had the vehicle in a heated shop to verify. I would appreciate any feedback regarding this possible problem. Tech. said it is very annoying and he would reconsider the purchase. Thanks
