Hey Forum, Does anyone know if there are any available software updates for a 2014 Silverado? Has anyone had any updates performed at the dealer? My concerns are that I do not have the latest software in my truck. I have a 2014 Z71 but it does not have an Offroad Module on the DIC nor does it read text messages or have the texting module on the MyLink center screen. I would imagine that there would be some updates available for the ECU also. I could be missing more items here, but I'm just not sure what else may be out there that I don't have.

Hello all. This is my first post on this forum. I joined just a few days ago and have been searching this forum for my answer but cannot find it. I tried to use the search feature but it doesn’t seem to work on my iphone. I have been having problems with the infotainment system with my truck that i bought about a month ago. Its doing the thing were it will play bluetoothed music the same time as the radio. From what i have read is that there is a software update available that resolves the issue. My truck also has the “Advanced Trailering Package” and some of its features have been a little glitchy so i plan to take the truck to the dealer to have these updates done. But before i go i want to be ready with specific TSB numbers so they know i mean business and dont pass them off as normal. I would also just like to know in general were i can find a continually updating list of TSBs for our trucks. Can someone please point me in that direction? Thanks! -
My 2015 Sierra display went out and says "searching for medium with valid download data" and then fails. Back up cam still works but no red/yellow/ guidelines. Took it to the dealer and they aren't completely sure the issue but want to start with software and if that doesn't work then replace a module. Truck is just out of warranty, (42k miles) Contacted GM and they seem to care less on doing the $200 software upload for me at no charge and haven't been much help at all. Anyone ever had this issue and is there a software upload I can do myself? Any help is appreciated!

I dropped my truck off at the dealership this morning for routine maintenance covered under the 24k 2yr plan. I am also having the voice command prompt repaired for the second time (it does not initiate the command prompt when hitting the button). Anyways, the dealership notified me of a 4WD software issue recall. He was not able to elobarate, I will get more info from one of the service guys when I pick it up. Just wanted to notify others and ask if anyone has the details on this? I am going to start searching online for more info. Thanks! Nate -
Just wondering what software versions yall have, I tried doing a search and couldn't find anything. The main reason I ask is because I saw a video in one of the threads showing how to setup the power folding mirrors, under the comfort and convenience settings, mine seems to be missing those options. My truck is a 2014 Sierra SLE All Terrain, software version is 23174395.

Has anyone had trouble the infotainment system freezing up on my way to work this morning the whole thing froze could not even turn the music down.trying to park no backup camera.even after i shut truck off and open door it still stayed on.about 15min that way.Then it shut off by its self.After work everything seems fine.Twice i have had the whole dash go black while going down the road.I will take to dealership this Friday
