I could really use some advice, I have a 2000 GMC Sierra 4.8l rwd. I'm buying a used truck very soon, either a 2005 Silverado 1500hd LS at 135k miles for $10k or a 2005 Sierra 1500hd SLE at 156k miles for $8.5k. They are both stock and same condition exterior. I am looking to put a cam, tune, stage 2 trans, 6in lift and some other goodies in it. I am completely stuck on which one to get, any experiences or advice could really help me.

Has anyone ever ran their stage 4 cam in a 5.3? I talked to texas speed and they recommended this to me for more power but when I talked to a sales guy at Brian Tooley Racing they claim that this cam will not have enough piston to valve clearance. Has anybody had problems with Texas speed in the past? Who is a more reputable company? Thanks in advance!

Hi all, Does anyone know about the speed governor on the 2014 Silverado 1500? I have some performance upgrades on my truck and I was on the hwy last night and realized it cut me off at 100. I couldn't accelerate anymore.

does anyone happen to know if one of these tuner chips will remove the speed limiter? or more importantly the limit of the cruise control? my truck wont allow me to use cruise control over 94mph...... so I keep it steady at 93mph lol in other news I took her on a 4 hour trip at a constant 93mph with no issues what so ever, this truck really does feel solid for the size!

Hi, Im looking for help with my 2007 gmc sierra 1500 classic pick up truck, I started to feel a weird vibrating light howl or humming in which I think its coming from the drive train. When Im driving on a 50km speed limit road I noticed it, when I give it light gas it does it but when I let off the gas it goes away.. Any ideas what this could be ?? Thanks
