Hi all, I am new to this forum and decided I would post about my issue since I can’t seem to find anyone with the same issue on a 6speed 2018, only 2017s and below... I have an extremely annoying fish bite/stutter when cruising up light inclines on the highway and while the stutter is happening, my RPMs are bouncing ever so slightly (probably about 50-100). It’s minimal bouncing but it almost replicates what would be a misfire or a transmission issue. Truck has 22000 kms on it. I have been dying to get a Diablew tune but I really want to see if I can get this issue fixed beforehand. I brought it to the dealer twice and they checked the TCM for updates and nothing. They checked for TSBs and nothing. They took it for test drives and “could not duplicate the issue”. I’m getting sick of my dealerships lacking desire to fix my issue. Has anyone had this issue and got it resolved? Would love to hear any feedback. Thanks.

My good friend, who I help keep running, has a 1993 C2500HD- the one w/ the TBI fuel injection on a 5,7L block & the Eight Bolt 2WD hubs/rims. It's been running ok for a long time w/ more than 430K miles, mostly freeway, on the OD. It does though have a few nagging issues, one of which is the tachometer bounces up and down erratically while the motor is running. It's most pronounce when the RPMs are low, like around 1K-2.5K, but never really goes away. The truck also has trouble sometimes pulling up-grade without getting some pinging from the motor. (Usually running 87 roz/ron octane...), I mention it in case the two things are related (Jumpy Tach & slight but persistent 'ping' going up steep grade on the freeway) in case they are related.

Alright! my silverado has the infamous stuck speedo and tachometer, wondering if anyone on here has actually repaired them your self, like with those cheap little motor kits. is it worth it!?
