The very first 2022 GMC HUMMER EV to roll off the line will be sold for charity at Barrett-Jackson’s Flagship Scottsdale Auction this March.
Today Barrett-Jackson Auctions announced that they will offer a very special electric truck for sale during their spring Scottsdale event. GMC HUMMER EV VIN #001. Yes, as in the very first HUMMER EV produced.
VIN #1 will be a limited launch edition model, like the one we’ve got a reservation for and plan on buying later this year. The big difference is the winner of VIN #1 will pay a lot more than we will and get their HUMMER EV much quicker than we will. A small price to pay for good money going to charity.
As the 2022 GMC HUMMER EV won’t go on sale until this fall, the auction will be selling a spot in line, instead of an actual vehicle that will roll past the gavel this spring.
Here’s the direct listing for 2022 GMC HUMMER EV VIN #1
