Water intrusion through the HUMMER EV’s  Infinity Roof Panels has been an ongoing issue, and GMC has just issued a new Service Bulletin with a fix that plans on getting the leaks under control.

Released this month (April 2023), Service Bulletin N222378440 is for the 2022 model year GMC HUMMER EV Pickup.

The condition: “On certain 2022 model year GMC HUMMER EV vehicles, water may leak at the center roof lift off panel insert or center roof lift off rear panel weatherstrip.”

The correction: “Dealers are to replace the center roof lift off panel assembly and the center roof lift off rear panel assembly.”

Implementing the service bulletin will take 0.7 labor hours and is covered under warranty for any 2022 HUMMER EV Pickup. It’s unknown how many vehicles are affected and if this applies to all 2022 models or only those with active water leaks.
