Cadillac announced today that its Curated by Cadillac personalization program is expanding to the all-electric Cadillac Escalade IQ, bringing hand-built, concierge-guided customization to the brand’s electric flagship SUV for the 2027 model year.
The package runs $54,995 on top of the vehicle itself. For perspective, that’s more than a nicely equipped Silverado 1500 costs in total.
What Curated by Cadillac Actually Gets You
This is more than a paint upcharge. Curated by Cadillac started as the ordering experience for the hand-built CELESTIQ sedan, and Cadillac is now offering that same treatment to a small number of Escalade IQ buyers.
“Curated by Cadillac ESCALADE IQ gives clients the chance to create a vehicle that reflects their individual taste by working alongside expert Cadillac designers,” said Kristian Aquilina, vice president, Global Cadillac. “We’re extending the hand-built CELESTIQ experience to deliver true customization capabilities for a select number of ESCALADE IQ clients.”

Buyers get access to more than 160 exterior colors and finishes, spanning solids, metallics, tri-coats, frosts and mattes. Inside, a palette of up to 44 colors can be mixed and matched across all three rows of seating, the center console and the floor mats. Cadillac says that adds up to millions of possible combinations.
A dedicated design concierge works with each buyer and their dealer through the whole process, using inspiration boards, personas and guided configurator sessions. With 160 paint chips on the table, some guidance is probably a good thing.
Hand-Painted, Hand-Built in Warren, Michigan

Every Curated by Cadillac Escalade IQ will be hand-painted and hand-built at GM’s Artisan Center in Warren, Michigan, the same facility that builds the CELESTIQ. Each vehicle carries a unique VIN and a serialized builder’s badge, and production will stay very low volume.
That detail is worth pausing on. The Artisan Center is the closest thing General Motors has to a coachbuilding operation, and the Escalade IQ is only the second vehicle to come out of it.
Same Powertrain Underneath

The customization program doesn’t change anything mechanical. Underneath the custom paint, this is the same Escalade IQ, with a Cadillac-estimated 465 miles of range on a full charge.
Charging options carry over as well, including vehicle-to-home bidirectional charging with compatible GM Energy products, so the custom Caddy can still power your house in an outage.
Debut at The Quail This Week

Want to see one in person? A Curated by Cadillac Escalade IQ concept will be on display at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California on August 14, 2026, right in the thick of Monterey Car Week. Cadillac showed the program off in Selene Luxe Frost, Tigerlilly and Manhattan Metallic, plus an interior finished in Vecchio with Sheer Gray and Santorini Blue accents.
