Finally got around to removing mine today. I'll ride it like this for awhile and decide if I want to go the trimmed route later. It was just so easy to take off, 15min. Some people complaining about bolts sticking out the bottom. I'll have to triple check but I swear I counted at least 6 other bolts holding that center trim in from the side and above. I left the bottom 5 bolts out for aesthetics but it ain't going anywhere.
