  1. No it doesn't. You can unplug any one of: high side connector, low side connector, or compressor connector, and it wont blow fuse. I've kind of decided its the clutch magnet.
  2. If my 2004 suburban blows the 10amp A/C fuse, is there anything to check besides the clutch itself being shot? The 4 prong relay next to the fuse is good. The snowflake on the dash controller is on. I couldn't find any bad, shorted, or cracked wires leading to the compressor clutch. I heard some vehicles have a diode on the wire to the compressor clutch. Does a 2004 Suburban have a diode?
