Jacob, hope you have better luck than I did. My 2016 did the same thing. Many trips to the dealer who could not reproduce the issue so nothing was done to address it until if completely went crazy. Dealer never documented the issues so when they finally ID'd the issue it was out of warranty. The only way to address this is to replace the head unit. Cost me upwards of $800 for a "remanufactured" unit with exchange. Despite being told this is a common issue from several dealers, GM was of no help.
