  1. So got truck back a couple weeks ago, noise came back after front rotor replacement and new pads. Brought back again, 3rd time, discovered that the front pads were installed backwards. Driving for 3 weeks now and silent...
  2. Well...spoke to soon as the brakes have started up again with the noise, though not as bad as 2 weeks ago. Called dealer, stated they only replaced the front rotors and left all of the second round of pads on. I brought truck into my garage and crawled under and the rear rotors have a shiny spot on the inner diameter of the rotors 3/4-1" wide. Appointment again next week...
  3. Got the truck back today. New rotors installed after they discovered there was glazing/hard spots on them. Took them a day or so to figure and get the higher powers of Gm warranty to approve. Just picked up and quiet for now. All under warranty
  4. My 2020 AT4 2500 started the noisy brakes around 14K miles. Brought into dealer around 16K for oil change and a couple other things to look at. They did in fact change out the pads stating there was a recall on them. within a 500 miles new brake pads are even noisier, I call trash truck noisy especially at low speeds, coming to a stop, brought back to dealer and stated that the new pads are fine but it appears the rotors have glazed over. They are trying to get the new rotors covered, but typically GM doesn't cover wear parts. Spoke with them, I said has to be the pads, original or new ones doing this and should be covered. I repost once dealer gets back to me I have hauled a trailer with a load of no more than 5K lbs, maybe 4 times. Truck is mostly used as a work vehicle but with nothing in box.
