  1. Nice work on the price. Similar to mine I’d think with the KO2’s($1560),bed liner ($500] and trail boss lift (cost unknown, although I’m thinking they may have skimped on the lift piece.) For me was the truck I wanted and felt good about the deal. That with my trade in and they had a .5 reduction on the lowest published rate of my credit union I feel pretty solid on the deal. With all that said you seem to have gotten a great deal and had the inventory to choose from that I didn’t. Nice work!
  2. I’ll follow up but not super concerned. I bought mine at the beginning of August when incentives got a little better. I bought my 2016 in October and inventory was tight. I think August/September is the sweet spot for incentives and inventory. My truck was on the lot for a while. I drove it in April when I picked up the plates for my wives Tahoe. I’ll have a record on file with the dealer by bringing up the issue and having them inspect it with my concerns. If I run into issues I will have documentation to push my cause. Still very happy with the truck but I only have 1200 miles.... WOW, just realized how off track I took this post. BTW, I paid $42k on. $51,500 MSRP with a few upgrades.
  3. Joe, Thank you for you reply. Great verbiage. I will follow up the dealer in the next 2-3 weeks (I’m a ways away.) I’ve been a lurker for years but had to join after I bought a 19.
  4. Thank you sir for your insight. 285 55 20
  5. Will do. Thanks for the information.
  6. Take a look. The silver circle is the magnet. It looks to have 2 steel leafs with the 3rd/bottom not steel. Thoughts?
  7. Thanks for the information. Anything else you could share would be helpful. I’m going to be there in a couple weeks and ask for details. Anything special that I should ask about. I actually bought from the general manager and he gave me the best deal he could on both trucks. It was about $3,500 difference and the KO2’s were $1,500+ so that leaves about $2000 towards the lift. He mentioned longer axels but never referenced leaf springs. Any way the verify visually if it has composite leaf springs? What to look for? I’m about to get the creeper out and look....?
  8. 2019 Silver Crew Cab, 4x4, 5.3L, Z71, LT, Standard Bed (6.5’ ), Texas edition, dealer installed trail boss lift, KO2’s ($1,540), tint, spray in bed liner, convenience package 2, 2 years of oil changes, 1 year of free car washes, and of course nitro filled tires ?! MSRP $51,500 USD. Paid $42,000 before T&L but that was cheap in TX (moved here almost 2 years ago from CA.) I could have bought another stock (no trail boss lift or KO2’s) truck optioned the same except white and the short box for $39,900 but I wanted the standard bed, loved the trail boss height (without the black bumpers) and like the KO2’s a lot. Here’s the kicker that sealed the deal for me, they gave me $31,000 for my 2016. That’s retail and now they have it on their lot for sale at $31,659 and it’s not moving. I couldn’t be happier. As a bonus the auto stop has never activated. My mom has a 2019 and it stops all the time here under the same conditions. Anybody looking for a truck in the San Antonio area I’d urge you to check out Northpark Chevrolet in Castroville TX. They’re good people. Bought my wife’s Tahoe (used) there before my truck.
