  1. 2015 Silverado.I noticed while cleaning my truck the Passenger floor was soaking wet under my mats. So I pulled the kick panels down and pulled the carpet back to find a leak at the ac drain before it exits the truck. The leak appears to be coming through the box right near the firewall, it’s definitely not leaking at the drain and coming back in . I pulled the outside drain off and used a large zip tie to make sure there was no clog in the drain itself. I can’t see a crack because of the location, it’s in one of the ribs on the heater box right against the firewall so I can’t see in there. Do these boxes have seams that’s leak, should I just try to gob sealant in there https://freeimage.host/i/dmxtou https://freeimage.host/i/dmxQte
  2. Where did you order yours from. I was looking at acdelco kits of 8 on eBay
  3. 2015 Silverado 5.3 non flex. Trying to order injectors to fix p050d but gm is telling me they have 4 injectors and can’t tell me by vin. The only way is to pull the injectors get the stamped number then they can order them. Is they a way to tell which injectors I have without going a week without my only ride. I thought it depended on the motor only
  4. I have a 2015 Silverado with 100k and I just recently got the dreaded p050d. I’m getting misfire on cylinder 4 on a freeze frame when code is set. I went thru and ruled out all the simple things, tried new fuel/ cleaner, replaced plugs and wires and swapped coils With no luck. So since I can’t currently afford to have the dealer do the work( let go due to downsizing from covid)and I start a new job Monday my only option is to tackele this myself. My only concern is it seems people are saying there is more than one injector for 5.3 and I don’t want to buy the wrong ones. A low flow vs high flow. And also if I buy all 8 injectors so hopefully I only have to do this once due I still need the sizing tool for the seals. Should I stick to acdelco oem or look aftermarket? It looks like I’ll need new intake gaskets the 2 fuel rails and the injectors. Sorry for the long post but I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place and I don’t want to keep driving my little ones around and risk a break down. Any help is appreciated
  5. I swapped out my sto k muffler for a carven tr and ran new 3" piping to a single exit exhaust. Although it sounds good around 1600-2500 rpm it's just too loud especially with a baby in the truck. With the stock resonator it's just too quiet. Has anyone tried a aftermarket resonator like the vibrant series just to take the edge off the exhaust without sacrificing too much. Thank you
