  1. I am not sure if they did or not, the truck going back on Monday, I mention it to them see if that helps, thanks!
  2. I have a 2023 Chevy 2500HD Custom, i had Service Chevy in Lafayette, LA try to installed the wireless keypad on my truck(like the ford truck and SUVs have). They are having trouble getting it to sync with my truck. Has anyone else installed this item with success? because they can’t find seem to get any help resolving the issue.
  3. I have a 23’ custom diesel 4x4 and when cranking the torsion bars I can only get roughly 1 1/4” lift on the driver side and over 2” on the passenger side. Could this be a bar or key issue? Has anyone else had this happen and what was the fix, I’d like to get at least 2” out of both to minimize the rubbing on my 37s. I had a 20’ LT Z71 before this one and had about 2 1/4” lift out of that one.
  4. Still having this bucking issue, getting worse, feel it on everyday driving instead of just while pulling my camper, could this possibly be rear end or traction control issue? did a transmission flush and filter change anda that did nothing at all to help
  5. Update: back from the shop and still doing this but now noticing a rough idle and noticing it driving without a load also. its back at the shop, supposedly they already checked injectors and dont believe they are the issue, has anyone had this same issue??
  6. i have a 2020 2500HD duramax, while Towing my Camper roughly 12-13K, my Truck start a hard jolt while cruising down the highway, has anyone else felt this? started out doing it above 70, slowed down to 65 after a little while start at 65 then down to 60, 55 and so forth, never during accelleration or while slowing down just while cruising, faster the speed harder it hits, feels like something wants to lock up, thought maybe the camper but unplugged it and still the same issue. it's at the shop now but the only thing they are thinking are possibly a ECM/TCM update.
  7. Had this happened to mine, first transmission I had to change at 16k miles because of an unstoppable trans fluid leak then the new replacement trans had a hard downshift from 4th to 3rd, but a started doing a manual downshift at higher rpms a few times and it stopped, it would only happe. When the trans was cold so thinking it was just tight machining tolerances
  8. thanks for the info!
  9. I currently went from the factory 275/70r18s to 37x11.50r18s and my speedo is off by around 11%, i saw Hypertech and rough country both make speed calibrators and was wondering what was the best route to go? not sure if one of these would mess with the warranty or not??
  10. I know when it was factory he was getting about 14-15 avg, I believe he’s getting around 13-14 now. here is a little different angle, at the front fenders I am 4” taller than stock (stock with 20s are 1/2” higher than with 18s because of the tire size)
  11. Even with the torsion bars cranked 2”s the ride is fairly close to stock (I was expecting worse) I can feel the bigger tires a little in the steering wheel but nothing that would make me want to change my tires, rides much better than my Cummins I had with 35” MTs, I was a little nervous tho because a buddy of mine has a 2020 gas with 295/65r20s and he said his ride like a tank compared to his 2013 duramax
  12. Was finally able to crank my torsion bars and get the 37x11.50s put on today, love the look, they do not rub on the fenders but do rub the frame at full lock, I’m not sure if a 1/2” spacer would help or not
  13. at 17K miles i noticed my truck leaking from the transmission, brought it to the dealer, they originally told me it was the seal, but once they pulled the transmission to change it they noticed a groove cut in the bell housing that was causing the leak, they ordered a new transmission, took three weeks for the allison to come in, came in Monday should be picking it up on thursday.
  14. Transmission came in Monday, dealership said I should have my truck back on Thursday so I’m hoping to put them on Friday I will add pics when I do
  15. I ended up Finding a Set of 37x11.50r18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers Super cheap, once my truck is out of the Shop(Waiting on a Brand New Allison Trans, Mine Apparently had a groove cut in the bell house and had a consistant slow drip 17K miles) i will crank my torsion bars and see how the pizza cutters fit!
  16. the factories on 18s run roughly 33.5
  17. apparently no one runs 18s anyone i guess.
  18. I bought a 2020 chevy 2500 duramax with the factory 18s. i am unsure of what tire size to go with. i was thinking either 305/70r18 or 37x11.50r18. i would like to see some pics of your setups on 18s. i know plenty of people are putting the 37s on 20s but never seen the 18s on 37s yet.
