  1. I ended up taking it to the dealer. I was thinking it was an ecm issue. $550.00 to diagnose, replace the electrical connector at the throttle body and relearn/ program etc... Without re-installing the old throttle body, I wont know if it was the wiring all along. But I'm not going to mess with it. Thanks for the response.
  2. Hello, I'm looking for assistance troubleshooting a P2101. When it first happened, I didn't have a scanner but the truck went into limp mode. I unhooked battery and it started driving normally for a few miles, then it happened repeatedly. After many battery resets I finally got it home. Scanner showed code P2101. I checked connections at the throttle body and the gas Pedal. I replaced the throttle body with a new one, no change. I have a new gas pedal arriving tomorrow and I have checked and cleaned all Ground connections I could find. Another thing to note is that will limping home and hooking and unhooking the battery, the positive battery post and fuse plate felt warm/ hot almost. Question, Is there a procedure to get the truck out of Limp mode? Unhooking the battery no longer helps. What else should I look at before going to the dealer? I found bulletin number 18-NA-037 that may be related to my issue. DDOP Software anomaly that will set the P2101 code Thanks Dave
