Doing the right side hub now. Won’t make the splash shield mistake this time. I took pictures. Need to do the control arms. Buying arms is the same price as buying ball joints and bushings. And my joints look bad. Also ordered. A used tire off eBay. 3 of them on my truck are 5+/32 and one is 2/32 or less. Couldn’t find a match in the states and tire rack made my tires special order. I get what I can get at my local gettin' spot. And at cost normally, perk of having a working relationship with them and selling them AMSOIL. But, they are mainly and import shop and heavily specialize in classic VW. So I will usually bring in the stock part numbers and see what they can get. My experience with bearings in other things leads me to Timken or SKF

Piled some more boxes on the truck, drove the Cobalt 160 miles round trip to class again. It crested 150,000 on that drive. Bent wheel is annoying the shit out of me. I need to find some quality front wheel bearings for the truck. Need to do the front end in general and order 2 new $370 tires for the front. Cobalt needs to last about 4 months with a 16- mile round trip commute to the base for work if this job comes through.

Got mine at a local shop. Even with my business acct it was $295 installed. I spent like $20 more than if I got it from my wholesale place, but I didn’t lose a day and I didn’t have to change it Not sure the difference in your 1220 and my 1500.
